LGBTQIA+ Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): The IRIS Program

Your journey is deeply personal, but you can feel stronger when surrounded by a community that recognizes and accepts you for who you are.

Specialized Full-Time Day Treatment for the LGBTQIA+ Community

LGBTQIA+ Partial Hospitalization: Why Choose the IRIS Program at Fuller Hospital?

You don’t have to navigate this on your own. Find your place and your people with the IRIS Program at Fuller Hospital. Our LGBTQIA+ partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a mental health program where participants 18 and older support one another and grow together to overcome challenges.

Here you can step away from the weight you’re carrying and celebrate your authentic self with a program designed for the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. If you’re still searching for who you are, we support you on that journey as well.

Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Your background, identity and lived experiences shape who you are.

You deserve a place where you can be vulnerable and thrive and feel unconditionally accepted.

Highlights of the LGBTQIA+ partial hospitalization program include:

  • Full acceptance: We offer affirming identity-centered care that honors every aspect of your true self, including your pronouns and relationships. We support you exactly as you are.
  • Sense of community: Gain support from others who get you. You share and learn from a community that understands your experiences, and together, you’ll find your paths forward.
  • Affirmative care: We’re not here to change you. We’re here to support and celebrate you and help you work through the impacts of prejudice and social stigma.
  • Tools for resilience and self-acceptance: You can’t change the reactions or behaviors of others. Instead, we provide you with the tools to face your challenges and the complexities of family and cultural expectations.
  • Supportive staff: Our dedicated clinicians provide you with support and guidance tailored to your needs. We’re advocates for your well-being and want you to have the resources you need to feel empowered to move forward.
  • Virtual programming: We have a virtual option for those who can’t or prefer not to travel to our location. You can fully participate in the program using virtual meeting technology.
